Office Manager (this Full Time position is available for immediate start)

Job Description:

  • Daily administration of busy office furniture company
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers verbally and in writing
  • Book-keeping including processing sales and purchase invoices, arranging payments by BACS, credit control and producing monthly reports
  • Arranging deliveries with transport department
  • Updating blog and social media feeds
  • Tender proposals and questionnaires
  • Provision of sales support for busy sales team – producing quotes, placing orders, dealing with enquiries

Person Specification:

  • Flexible – able to prioritise workload
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Skills:

Essential:

  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Sage, Powerpoint
  • Good telephone manner
  • Good communication skills
  • Good customer services skills

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Pegasus Opera
  • Experience of working in office furniture industry

 

Hours of work: 9am – 5pm
